A 3d mmorpg has arrived on the GMC. The game is made by Andreas_oj, a new gmc member, but long time game maker user. The mmorpg has been named Adventure road. The link to the thread is here.

The Results to the YoYoGames 2nd Competition

“And the winners of the YoYoGames 2nd competition is………”

After long months of deliberations and waiting for the winners of the YoYogames 2nd Competition the results have been released. Yesterday on Tuesday the results were finally announced. Previously Mark has said the results were already known and were expected for release on Monday. Monday flew past and everyone just believed the results would never come.

Within the next 24 hours many gm users began complaining about yoyogames.com not working. The clue was cast that the winners were being announced and the site was under maintenence. The speculation and rumors turned out to be true.

The 1st prize winner won : $1000
The 2nd prize winner won: $500
The 3rd prize winner won $250

Twas the Night – Game Review

Its May 26. Its about 5 months after Christmas. Why is this game being reviewed at a time like this? Well because this is information we should not hog.

The blog did not exist back then. Twas the Night was an entry in the 1st yoyogames competition. The game has certainly came from a long way.

YoYoGames Competition 2: Ancient Civilization

YoYoGames is in the process of naming the winner to the 2nd YoyoGames Competition.

The competition is already over however the judging and the actual competition is still under way. Many great games has been entered into the competition for a chance to win $1000!

The game has made many changes.

The game was originally a sideview and scrolling platformer, but it ended up being neglected by Winter 2007 because the ProdigyGM was getting off the ground and too many things was going on. The game then rechanged itself to Jetdude 3d because it went to full 3d mode. Somehow the Jetdude became a JetTurd and that Jetturd became a Jiant-Turd 3d.

The game has a nice history. However,

Ark 22 is an GM action rpg that needs more attention

Many action rpgs have not been seen on the gmc or yoyogames. The reason if that it requires long hours of programming, story writing, and a community development. However there is stilll some games that have been released on the gmc that were in fact an action rpg. Ark is more than a rare action rpg that gm users can play, but one of the best ones. The rpg has an engaging storyline.

The game lasts quite some time. Ark22introduces many engines that have not been seen in many independent game developers. The inventory and save system is lovely and it works perfectly.

The weapons gained and earned has given the game more points for gameplay.

An Untitled Story [freeware!]

YoMamasMama has released a new free game to the public called untitled story. Now you all may believe the game seems like it was made overnight by the name but once you play it you will end up playing the game overnight.

The game graphics resemble that which was made on MS paint. However the gameplay capitalizes in physics, storylines, and level design. The game also sticks to its graphics by not using sprites that were found on the internet that do not match the graphic in the game.
