with the rest of the world.

A 3d MMORPG has arrived on the GMC!

Stop the presses!

A 3d mmorpg has arrived on the GMC. The game is made by Andreas_oj, a new gmc member, but long time game maker user. The mmorpg has been named Adventure road. The link to the thread is here.

IT gets better. I am now helping him make the 3d mmorpg.

Screenshots of the game has been uploaded by me.

Here we are

“Me choosing my playername, class, and more” “The game menu”

The game allows you to choose your class. You have many choices. The classes available so far are warrior, archer, wizard and priest and i believe some other ones. Also you get to choose your skin color. You can be either white, tanned, orange, brown, or yellow.

“very nice im getting in now because it ownz everyone who says the gm cant make a 3d Mmorpg! is now silence >:)”

“Me roaming around as a brown wizard”

The game server is totally reliable. I have never seen server down today. The game uses the 39dll, which gives a fast connection and reliable playability.

The 3d world in the mmorpg has many nice features. World of WarCraft and Runescape may have some serious competition.

The game is a work in progress, but has done alot.

I reccommend anyone to play this game.

Now get out there and get animated!

  4. The graphics need some serious work on AR, and the camera system can get annoying (it would be nice if it turned with the character). Yeah, it is kind of fun for a little while, but if no one else is on, it gets boring (but hey, that is one of the main points of online games: player to player interaction).

Right now I don’t think that it is any competition to WoW and Runescape (games who have hundreds of thousands of players playing at once), mainly because of its graphics (could use some work), user base (not very big atm), bugs/glitches (they are rare and few, but still there), and the probable security issues (I don’t know, but I am just guessing that there is not a whole lot of anti-hack right now).

The content on AR is great right now though, there are lots of clothes, armors, weapons, staffs, bows, etc, for your character to get as monster drops or buy from npc shops. The game is also balanced pretty well, and the fact that the only requirement between different classes of items is the amount of money you have to spend on it is great. I think that AR could get big if the developer continues to work on it in a semi-professional manor and gets some of the bugs fixed, and hopefully gets some better graphics going.
